Trevor moved to Selsdon in August 2018, having previously served as Minister of Yardley Wood BC in South Birmingham and Associate Minister-in-Training at Catshill BC in Bromsgrove. Before training for ministry, at Bristol Baptist College, he worked for almost ten years in a variety of roles for the financial information provider Reuters.
Trevor believes that the local church is called by God to put the values of his kingdom on display: understanding the struggles and problems of our neighbours, offering them good news of how Jesus provides freedom and forgiveness, and creating a warm, welcoming and diverse community which gives a glimpse of God’s new creation in the here and now.
Trevor is married to Emma, with two adult children, James and Hannah.
Rev. Kathryn Kane

I became a member of Selsdon Baptist Church in 2019 and served on the diaconate before becoming the Associate Minister in April 2024.
I was born and brought up in Croydon, but after completing studies at Elim Bible College I lived in Pontarddulais, Great Yarmouth and Smethwick. I finally returned to Croydon to become Head of Religious Studies at Archbishop Tenison's School. I then worked for the Diocese of London before becoming the Associate Minister here in Selsdon.
I am excited to see God moving in the lives of people in Selsdon, so that we may grow in our love and knowledge of Jesus and feel confident in sharing the good news with others.

I love to see how young people can reach their full potential, and I long for them to be nurtured and equipped as disciples. I want to provide a safe place for young people to come in and be a part of the Church family, where they can know Jesus for themselves.
I studied a Youth Work & Theology Degree at Oasis College in London, during this time I was fulfilling my Youth Ministry training in Orpington Baptist Church. Since graduating in 2017, I have been working within a Christian Schoolswork organisation, leading their Secondary Schools Work.
I’m married to Dave and I have lived in Croydon since 2020.
