Reflection & Refreshments - A Harvest of Praise

Don reflects on his lifelong journey with music — from childhood piano lessons to discovering Christian faith through singing at youth camp — and how worship music has evolved over the years. Drawing on Psalm 150, he emphasises that all instruments and voices can joyfully praise God, regardless of musical skill. He concludes that music’s harmony mirrors the Christian call to live in harmony with God through Jesus Christ.

Sunday service - Harvest - ‘Proper Pay and Protests to God’

The sermon uses the image of being lost in a maze to describe how we’re all caught up in a global system of consumption that often hides exploitation and harm. It highlights real injustices in clothing, mining, and sugar supply chains, reminding us that God hears the cries of exploited workers just as He heard the Israelites in Egypt. Trevor urges intentional, ethical buying and support for a new UK law to prevent companies profiting from human and environmental harm.

Deuteronomy 24:14–15
