SBC will be 100 soon!

Selsdon Baptist (Free) Church (to give it the official original name) - was started in 1927. So next year we will turn one hundred years old!

At our Church Members' Meeting last Sunday, we did some "blue-sky" thinking of ideas to celebrate this special occasion. Suggestions ranged from the whacky (Kathryn coming in on a zipline trailing a birthday banner!) to the more sedate (an exhibition of our history), with a host of other ideas. We want our celebrations to mark God's goodness to us through the years, but also to bless our community and launch us into the next 100 years.

Put your thinking cap on and talk about this with your family, friends and any church small groups you belong to. Pass your ideas to Kathryn, Trevor or any of the deacons.
