Woodland Camp 2010
Our Woodland Camp trip in July was one of the most successful youth retreats we have had.
We were all kept safe and felt God with us over the entire weekend. On the last session on Sunday morning we had communion and after speaking over the weekend about the “sermon on the mount” and caring for others and putting others and God first, we saw God move in a mighty way.
We based the weekend on the A-
On the last day we held communion outside and prayed and sang together. Some of the young people made firm commitments for faith that day and moved another step onward in their journey.
We saw God’s Holy Spirit working in a great and might way. We were able to share and chat together about what being a real (authentic) follower of Christ is all about. It was a time that both the Ro and the other leaders will not forget for a while.

- Learning all about the walk we take with God
- Always to be kind and helpful to people
- God is there for you and he knows what you are feeling, thinking, doing and going to say before it happens
- It’s ok to have doubts
- Praise god 24/7
- God loves you
- Respect for yourself and God
- Don’t be a Sunday Christian
- I should not worry about what other people think of me; to live up to what I say
