Our Woodland Camp trip in July was one of the most successful youth retreats we have
had.
We were all kept safe and felt God with us over the entire weekend. On the last session
on Sunday morning we had communion and after speaking over the weekend about the
“sermon on the mount” and caring for others and putting others and God first, we
saw God move in a mighty way.
We based the weekend on the A-Team TV series and worked on all working together as
a team, on looking out for and helping each other.
On the last day we held communion outside and prayed and sang together. Some of the
young people made firm commitments for faith that day and moved another step onward
in their journey.
We saw God’s Holy Spirit working in a great and might way. We were able to share
and chat together about what being a real (authentic) follower of Christ is all about.
It was a time that both the Ro and the other leaders will not forget for a while.
