20’s & 30’s

Twenties and Thirties Ministry

We are seeking to link-up our twenty and thirty years olds. The first main event organised for this age-group was a weekend away.

On 16th-18th April 2010 a group of 11 SBC 20-somethings took some time out to spend the weekend together at Pekes Manor in Golden Cross, East Sussex. As well as enjoying the facilities of our fabulous surroundings, which included a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, tennis

court etc, we also managed to spend a sunny afternoon on the beach in Eastbourne and visit the Mammoth Sussex Boot Fair to undertake our very own £3 Car Booty challenge …

The weekend also gave us all opportunities to catch up, share stories and spend time praying. We watched the Rob Bell DVD ‘Everything is Spiritual’ and spent some time chewing over its message and what that might mean for us.

In between all the activities was plenty of time to eat together, with full English breakfasts, Pasta Bakes and Roast Beef all being on the menu over the course of the weekend.

We’re hoping to be able to go again next year …
