needs of missionaries and mission organisations; article in
Impact, presentations in services.

Shoe Box Appeal
The Shoe Box appeal is a scheme that runs each autumn
to fill an old shoebox with toys and gifts that will be
sent as a present to children who would otherwise go
without, in various places around the world.
The scheme is operated by
Samaritan's Purse, and you can serve by either filling a shoebox, or
by being part of the church's collection scheme for
forwarding on the shoeboxes. |
BMS Birthday Scheme
The slogan of the BMS
(Baptist Missionary Society) Birthday Scheme is "Share a
smile".
On your birthday you will receive a birthday card
from the church's BMS Birthday Scheme secretary,
inviting you to share a smile on your birthday by
sending a gift to BMS Medical Work. Your gift helps make
difference to the people they support, give them
something to smile about.
