More Photos of the LIFE Exhibition held in March 2008
Over 600 children from local primary
schools visited the exhibition during the school week. The
pictures show adults visiting the exhibition in the
evening. Comments
from the visiting schools

For the school sessions, each zone was manned by a volunteer
to answer questions.

Each child had a interactive electronic PDA (personal digital
assistant) with videos, audio, text and questions to guide them
round the exhibition.

After the zones, there was a video and light presentation of
Jesus' death and resurrection - (no picture - it was the wrong
shape to photograph!)

At the end, tea, coffee, squashes or water were available in
the cafe area.

A powperpoint slideshow in the cafe area stimulated further
discussion.

In each zone a pod added a simple activity.

Overall views of the exhibition set up in the church. The
area behind the mirror panels was for the opening video.

The exhibition was a fantastic opportunity to present the
historical Jesus to 600 schoolchildren in a format acceptable to
their schools and teachers.
Sesldon Primary
Year 5 learn a lot about Christianity, especially events
leading up to Easter. This excellent exhibition fits in
perfectly. Thank you, the class clearly enjoyed it, varied and
fun. The children were hooked by the P.D.A's and enjoyed the
activities. Really well organised, really informative, staff
were great.
Greenvale Primary
Well organised, well looked after - good resources -
appropriate pace - excellent resources - thought provoking video
- clear discussions - very good.
Forestdale Primary
Very enjoyable and informative experience. Thank you
very much.
Croydon High
Well organised for the modern child; PDA's quizzes 'soundbites'
keeps their attention. Good questioning to find out prior
knowledge to work from. Thank you.
Courtwood School
Friendly and welcoming staff and very warm. The children
enjoyed every bit of the programme. Fantastic, very interactive
for the children - good resources.
In the Life Works zone - on the miracles of Jesus -
children were asked what they thought a miracle was. One bright
spark piped up: "My mum says when I tidy my room, taht's a
miracle!". And another: " I thought Jesus was boring, but now I
think he's amazing".
The LIFE exhibition is provided by Counties, details
