Needs
International Needs is a christian charity dedicated to helping the poorest people around the world
Selsdon Baptist Church has close links with International Needs.
One of our members, Peter Staley, is the UK Director for International Needs.
Our Sunday school have raised funds in anumber of ways, such as for ‘School Bag Kits’ for poor families, and for providing goats to poor families.
We have had a young peoples mission trip to Ghana, where number of the young people from the church went out to spend a week in Ghana supporting International Needs projects.
Our members also support various International Needs fundraing events, such as the annual concerts at Hever castle. One of our members, Dave Root, ran in the 2010 London Marathon to raise money for International Needs.
