An SBC Summer is never far away …
Over the summer months it’s all change with Selsdon Baptist Church as many of our usual midweek activities take a break and we spend a fantastic week getting together, having fun, and sharing the good news of Jesus.
Each summer we have a themed week, called “Holiday @ Home”, open to all older folk in the local community. Our Addington Road building is decorated following the theme and everyone enjoys quizzes, puzzles and games, Mazey Golf, craft, painting, Giant Sudoku, woodturning demonstrations, quilting exhibitions and afternoon entertainment.

2008’s theme was a World Cruise
SBC’s third ever ‘Holiday at Home’ saw all the crew and guests take a cruise on ‘SBC Hope’. 29 guests and a healthy number of helpers were part of a week which saw us dock in Japan, Italy, Greece and Egypt without having to leave the comforts of Croydon!
