WHO WE ARE
CLUB HISTORY

The club was formed in 1989 and joined the Bromley & Croydon Christian Football League. The league was originally just one division but has grown over the years into 3 divisions.
In 1997, the club formed an Under 16 team that played on a Sunday afternoon against other churches from the Bromley & Croydon Christian League forming a new Under 16 league of 6 teams. Unfortunately the Under 16 team was 'suspended' at the end of the 98/99 season due to lack of players.
In 1999, team was formed to allow players unable to play for the 'A' team due to work, family or other commitments, and those that have left the Under 16 team due to their age, to continue to play for the club. The 'B' team joined the 3rd division of the league while the original team now known as the 'A' team were already in the 2nd division. The Club Secretary is currently Paul Burns and Club Administrator is Sarah Burns. Unfortunately, due to lack of management and player commitments the 'B' team folded at the end of 2004-2005 season but has been reformed for the 2006-2007 season run by Simon Winter and Steve White.
TRAINING
The Club has a training session on Tuesdays from 8.30pm prompt until 10pm at Monks Hill on the astroturf. All squad members are encouraged to attend.
WHERE AND WHEN.
The teams play primarily on Saturday afternoons although in extreme circumstances this may be changed to a morning kick off. Times vary depending on seasonal light or lack of it!!.
Our home pitch is at the side of the astroturf pitch at Monks Hill Sports Centre. ( see Home Pitch Details)
DISCIPLINE
The Club prides itself on its disciplinary record and has always finished in the top section of the fair play award.
We aim to be a good Christian witness to the teams we play, and the people in our vicinity before, during, and after the match.
The Club does not agree that swearing is part of the game, and looks upon it as unnecessary, as does the League we play in.
Players swearing will be booked by the referee and may be sent from the field of play if persistent.
All bookings by the referee also carry a fine. This fine is paid by the player and not the Club. Fines are determined by the London F.A, to whom we are affiliated, dependent on the type of misdemeanor committed.
