Worship Times

Sunday Worship takes place at 10 30am and at 6 30 pm

Sunday Morning Worship

10 30 am until 11 45 am approx - . Family worship, music, prayers, God’s word and a sermon. Sunday Club for the children


Sunday Evening Worship

Follows a monthly pattern

1st Sunday in Month -  Communion and Worship and the Word

2nd Sunday in Month  - At 4 00 pm rather than 6 30 pm. The 4 O'clock Service - worship aimed at Seniors - followed by afternoon tea.

3rd Sunday in Month - Worship and the Word

4th Sunday in Month - As announced

Regular Activities

Sunday

  • Services take place at 10:30 am and 4 00 pm or 6:30pm every Sunday.
  • There is something for everyone from the oldest to the youngest..


Wednesday

  • 2 30 pm T@3
    T@3 is held every 4th Wednesday of the month from 2 30 pm to 4 00pm. Older folk from the church and from the wider community are invited to share a cup of tea and cake, friendly conversation and usually a quiz. Lifts are available for the less mobile.
  • 6 00pm - 7 45 pm  E3 Home-group for Rocksolid and Gravity, (11 -18) (more details youth page)
  • 8 00 pm Church Meetings - as announced


Thursday

  • 10 00 am till 12:00 Thursday Group - a weekly seniors meeting normally in the coffee lounge
  • 7 00 - 9 00 pm Young Peoples Homegroup 18+ (more details on youth page)


Saturday


  • 8 00 am 1st Saturday in month - Praying Together
  • 9 00 am SBC Runners at Lloyd Park  - Also SBC on the Run - 2nd Sundays at 10 30 from the church


Children's Activities

Ages up to 11


Every Sunday morning at Addington Road, we have a lively Sunday Club for children following the children’s part of the main service.


Children are special and we arrange activities just for them throughout the week including:- (note that most weekday children’s activities are term-time only - check the Diary page)

Sunday Club. Groups for all age ranges to have fun and exlore our faith. Sunbeams – for Babies to Pre-School, Scramblers – for Reception to Year 2, Climbers – for Year 3 and Year 4,, Explorers – for Year 5 and Year 6. More details here.

Adventure Tots

Every Wednesday and Thursday morning (term time)

Adventure Tots is a baby and toddler group which provides the opportunity to meet other mums, dads, grandparents and carers in a relaxed fun environment.

There are refreshments provided, toys appropriate for babies and preschool children and interactive activities and singing. This is a great opportunity to meet new people.

The group is held in term time only. There is a small charge of 50p per person per session (ie £1 for parent and child)
