Hot Chocolate

Since December Matt Forsyth and Rob Chivers have been heading out on the Selsdon high street to give out free hot chocolate.

Our only aim: #LoveSelsdon. It’s been a great time for us to be giving to our local community, and specifically the youth heading home from a busy day at school.

Hot Chocolate on the high street

We are getting to know a lot of new faces and beginning a process of relationship building,

Who knows where it will take us in the future! So far we have given away over 300 cups and it’s still going strong.

We are doing this every Monday between 3.30 and 5pm  #LoveSelsdon

‘Youth and Yums’

Building up the youth community through food?

YES, quite simply we come together and eat and chill out as the Rock Solid and Gravity groups.

The idea is to have more social time together and having a safe space for our young people to hang out with the rest of the youth group.

So far, we have had one in January, then the Intreat activity weekend in February, recently we had a blast in March, and then on 9 April we are going on a trip to AirHop Guildford. The plan is to continue doing some more trips as well as the gatherings throughout the year.

We run from straight after church on 2nd Sundays till 3 o'clock.
