WITH THE PSALMS
on Saturday 28 June

at SBC Addington Road. A
morning combining creativity in
writing and art to worship God.
Whether you’re a doodler,
dabbler or a Da Vinci this could
be for you! Coffee and cakes. All ages welcome.
- Ordination of
David Mayne, 5th July
2008. A special day when our student assistant minister,
David Mayne will be ordained to serve full time with Selsdon
Baptist, following his three years of study and training
at Spurgeon's College

carers of young children!

Rachel Waddilove, our guest
speaker, has over 30 years’
experience as a maternity nurse
and nanny, working with families
all over the world, including
celebrities, politicians and
members of the Royal Family.
She wrote The Baby Book
(Daily Telegraph: ‘Without
doubt, the wisest book about
families I have ever read’) and
very recently The Toddler
Book. There will be an
opportunity to ask questions and
enjoy coffee and cakes! Come
and bring a friend!! Free

Church, run by
Contact Neighbourhood Care on the first Tuesday of each
month from 10.30 to 12.00, open to all senior citizens.
- Also for older people, we host T@3
once a month at 3pm. Please see the notices for the
date of the next T@3 and join us for afternoon tea.

The Bridge - A place where people can explore
Christianity in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere - meets on the
first Wednesday of every month at the Forestdale Forum - 18
years plus, both sexes

Baptisms - 1st June 2008 -
Robert and Louise Yaxley, recently married in our church,
were baptised.

Visit from dentists
working on a
Mercy Ship
Sun
3 Feb 2008.
We had a visit from
Nigel and Jane Paget who run a dental practice in Wallington.
For the last few years they have left their practice for a few
weeks each year and travelled on the Mercy Ships to Africa, etc,
to help whose who are in need. They told us how they
became Christians and how this affected their lives. More
here.

- Arts and Crafts Exhibition - 1st
July 2006 - Painting, cross stitch, children's activities,
music, displays and more.

LIFE exhibition, 10th -
14th March 2008. This was an
exciting interactive exhibition
about the life of Christ. During
the day classes from local
primary schools visited the
exhibition.
