If you want to ask questions and understand more about the Christian faith in a relaxed, informal way, join us at ALPHA.

ALPHA is a course of twelve sessions where people gather at Selsdon Baptist Church for a meal together, followed by an introductory talk or video on one aspect of the Christian faith. This is followed by a time of questions and small group discussion. An Alpha Day is part of the programme.

The course runs in the autumn.  This years Alpha was launched on Wednesday 24 September 2008 with the chance to hear Jonathon Aitken speak, and the course proper started from 2nd October. We regularly run courses, so contact the office if you are interested.

Jonathan Aitken was once a cabinet minister, who was jailed in 1999 for perjury. Prison brought him face to face with God, and turned around his life. He promises to be a fascinating speaker.

The course is led by our own Mike Elcome and David Mayne.
